The Hytronik HIM12 is a stand-alone, dual-technology motion sensor designed for use in daylight harvesting applications. It integrates 5.8GHz High Frequency (HF) and Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors to provide flexible detection logic and minimise false triggers.

Advanced Sensing & Logic

• The HIM12 offers four configurable detection modes to balance sensitivity and reliability:
• HF only or PIR only: Standard single-technology sensing.
• HF + PIR (Dual-Tech): Requires activation from both sensors to trigger, preventing false activations from heat sources or ventilation.
• HF / PIR: Triggers if either sensor detects motion to maximise the detection area.

Functional Features

• Daylight Harvesting: Integrated photocell regulates 1-10V output to maintain target lux levels by dimming or switching lights based on available natural light.
• Zero-Cross Relay: Software-driven switching at the zero-cross point minimises in-rush current, extending the relay's operational lifetime.
• Absence Detection (Semi-Auto): Supports manual-on/auto-off operation via push-switch terminal for increased energy savings.
• Commissioning: Programming is achieved via the HRC-11 remote control (sold separately) or an internal 16-channel rotary switch for rapid scene selection.
