Hytronik HBT02 Bluetooth 4 Wireless Mesh Transceiver Node
The Hytronik HBT02 is a Bluetooth 4 wireless mesh transceiver node designed for connected lighting control in commercial and industrial applications. It serves as a communication bridge within a mesh network, allowing for automated control via linked occupancy nodes or manual commands from the Hytronik smartphone app and scene plate wall switches. It is for use with control bases HC038V and HCD038.
Key Technical Specifications
- Wireless Connectivity: Operates on a 2.4 GHz–2.483 GHz frequency with a typical range of 15–30m3.
- Control Output: Supports 30mA broadcast DALI (up to 15 drivers) or 1-10V output options.
- Integrated Sensors: Features Photocell Advance™ technology, which uses a software algorithm to differentiate between natural light and LED light for accurate daylight control.
- Hardware Interface: Includes an RJ12 connector for control base linking, a hardware reset button for network erasure, and a status LED.
Performance & Environmental
- Operating Temp: Rated for -20°C to +70·Cwith a maximum case temperature (Tc) of +70°C.
- Form Factor: Compact IP20-rated housing (71.5mm x 31.7mm x 16mm) suitable for space-restricted applications like suspended fixtures.
- Manual Override: Supports "Switch-Dim" functionality via a push terminal on the control base for manual on/off and dimming.
Installation Considerations
To maintain signal integrity, the HBT02 should be positioned away from strong HF interference sources like LED drivers10. If mounted on metallic gear trays, a large cut-out opening is required under the internal Bluetooth antenna to ensure adequate range.
