The Hytronik HBT01 is a Bluetooth 4 wireless mesh transceiver node designed for commercial and industrial lighting control. It integrates a 5.8GHz microwave occupancy sensor and a photocell into a single unit to enable automated energy-saving.

Key Specifications

  • Sensing Technology: High-frequency microwave (5.8GHz +/-75MHz) with a maximum detection range of 10m x 3m (D x H).
  • Wireless Connectivity: Bluetooth 4 mesh with a typical range of 15–30m between nodes.
  • Control Output: Connects to control bases (HC038V or HCD038) to provide either 30mA broadcast DALI (up to 15 drivers) or 1-10V dimming.
  • Daylight Control: Features Photocell Advance™ technology, which uses a proprietary algorithm to differentiate natural light from LED light for accurate daylight harvesting.
  • Manual Override: Includes a 'Push' terminal for switch-dim functionality with synchronization support via the smartphone app.

Installation Considerations

  • Placement: To maximise range, the antenna should not be obstructed by metal. If mounted on a metallic gear tray, a large cut-out opening is required beneath the antenna.
  • Interference: It should be positioned away from LED drivers or other strong HF interference sources.
  • Environmental: Rated IP20 with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C (Ta).
