Important Information: Push Dimming Function MEAN WELL LCM-DA LED Drivers
The MEAN WELL LCM-DA LED drivers feature a push button dimming feature, as well as the DALI interface.
This is very useful as it allows dimming without any other connections.
However, there is something you need to be aware of when using the Push Dimming function.
the LCM-DA LED drivers remember the last dimming setting, so if the power is turned off it will come back on at the same dimming level.
We have had a few customers contact us to say that their MEAN WELL LCM-DA LED driver didn’t work out of the box.
On investigation, we found that the issue was the push button dimming level was turned to off, so there was no output from the power supply. The cure is to use the push button dimming function to turn up the dimming to a usable level.
