The MEAN WELL DRC-180B DIN rail power supply features a UPS function, which will switch to power the load from a connected battery if the AC mains supply fails. Once the mains supply has been restored, the power supply resumes to provide power to the load from the AC mains supply and recharges the battery. The 27.6V output makes it suitable for use in 24V systems.
The universal full range AC input makes this power supply ideal for OEMs producing equipment for international markets. For remote monitoring purposes, alarm signals are provided for AC OK and Battery Low.
It has a wide operating temperature range (refer to derating curve in data sheet), which makes it perfect for use in most applications.
