Description
The Hytronik HC403V-KD is a detached microwave motion sensor for 1-10V dimming control. It is used with a separate, compact antenna head (SAM3 or SAM4 – ordered separately), making it ideal for space-constrained fixtures like LED panels, linear T5/T8 tubes, and bulkheads where traditional bulky sensors might cast shadows or be blocked by metal louvres
Key Technical Specifications
- Operating Voltage: 120–277V AC
- Switched Power: Up to 400W @ 120V, 800W @ 230V, and 1000W @ 277V (capacitive load).
- Sensor Principle: 5.8GHz High Frequency microwave.
- Detection Range: Maximum 12m x 6m (ceiling) or 9m (wall) with a mounting height up to 6m.
- Control Signal: SELV-isolated 1-10V dimming.
Core Functionality
- Tri-level Control: Supports three light levels (100% ® dimmed standby ® off) to provide a "corridor function". Warning before total switch-off.
- Zero-cross Relay Operation: Software-driven switching at the zero-cross point to minimise in-rush current and extend relay life.
- 100H Burn-in Mode: Can be set to bypass sensor control and keep fluorescent lamps at 100% for 100 hours to secure lamp lifetime upon installation.
- Ambient Daylight Threshold: Features a learning function where the sensor samples and remembers the surrounding lux levels to set custom daylight thresholds.
Field Adjustable Settings (DIP Switches)
- Detection Area: 10%, 50%, 75%, 100%.
- Hold time: 5s to 30min.
- Stand-by Period: 0s, 10s, 1min, 5min, 10min, 30min, 1h, or +¥ (bi-level dimming).
- Stand-by Dim Level: 10%, 20%, 30%, 50%
- Daylight Threshold: 2–50 Lux or Disable
