Hytronik HC-IP65 Protective Housing for Hytronik Microwave Motion Sensors

The Hytronik HC-IP65 is a protective housing designed by Hytronik to convert internal HF (microwave) motion sensors into standalone units suitable for independent installation in harsher environments.

• Protection Rating: IP65.
• Dimensions: Ø135mm base with a total height of approximately 73.5mm (including mounting bracket).
• Material Options:
  • Transparent PC: Recommended when utilising the sensor's internal daylight harvesting or detection features.
  • White PC: Used for standard motion detection where daylight sensing is not required.
• Compatibility: Designed to house various Hytronik microwave motion sensors, including the HC009S, HC005S, HC019V series, HC018V series, HC023RF, HC024RF, and HCD405RC.

Installation & Mounting

The unit features internal cord grips for cable management and a "click-on" cover mechanism to secure the sensor inside. It offers high installation flexibility through three bracket mounting options:

• Flat Surface: Traditional screw mounting to walls or ceilings.
• Ceiling Pole: Attachment via a central nut.
• Pipe Conduit: Integrated holes allow for mounting directly through plastic piping.
